Dark Web Lectures on Personal Freedom

How can you get lost on the Internet?  No one is ever lost on the Internet; however, there is place where stealth is solace.  It is called the dark web.  The dark web is a collection of encrypted websites that are not “searchable” by traditional search engines. The Tor Project is responsible for the Tor software that enables online anonymity and defends against traffic analysis according to Tor Project’s website. The less syndicated side of the dark web lectures personal freedom, privacy and maximum security against hackers.   The syndicated side of the dark web is a melting pot of multifarious misdeeds and of complicit collusion.  One syndicated activity of the dark web is illegal/illicit drug sales. Recently, the arrest of the dark web drug kingpin, Gal Vallerius, was reported by Jay Weaver with the Miami Herald. Vallerius virtual misdeeds were confirmed through posts on the Dream Market Forum and use of his twitter handle name of OxyMonster.  Another nefarious activity of the dark web is petabyte (PB) data sales.   Although Uber paid threat actors to delete the data of 57 million account holders, Alex Ford, owner of  PoliceOne.com, was not so lucky.  In 2015, law enforcement professionals and police officers who were registered members of PoliceOne.com had their personally identifiable information (PII) stolen.  The 715,000 accounts from PoliceOne.com were sedentary on the Dark Web, awaiting a complicit buyer.  The dark web has more active solidity in protecting freedom than nefarious misdeeds, referencing Tor’s website.
